The four characteristic dimensions of
the Divine Word Missionaries’ life and service.
May the Heart of Jesus live in the hearts of all people.
Saint Arnold Janssen SVD
Mission statement of the Botswana Province:
“As an Intercultural Religious Missionary Community witnessing and proclaiming the Divine Word, we commit to promote Inculturated faith through our four characteristic Dimensions: Bible Apostolate, Communication,
Justice & Peace & Integrity of Creation and Mission Animation."
San women singing a healing dance.
Young modern people like those Hambukushu girls are special concern for the Church and for the SVD Missionaries.

Many of their generation get infected with HIV and become  sick with AIDS. Many die.....

Countries belonging to Botswana Province and the neighboring countries have the highest infection rate in the world.

It is a true battle zone between life and death.
It is a frontier - a right place for the SVDs.
